Once you sign up for a writing course, you’ll be assigned a personal tutor. You’ll be able to stay in contact with your tutor via email and they’ll send you a new module and assignment once a week. You will have one week to submit the assignment after which your tutor will provide written feedback on each submission. The courses do not run on set times or days, so each student has flexibility for when they complete the module and assignment throughout the week.
Our courses will pair you with an experienced tutor or published writer who will give you written feedback on your work. You’ll be able to work flexibly throughout the course and undertake assignments that are designed to provoke, challenge, and improve your creative writing skills.
Our courses are user-friendly. You just need internet access. The tutor will email you a new module and assignment every week. You just need to read that email, read the module, write the assignment and email the assignment for feedback.
Your tutor will provide written feedback on each assignment you complete. The feedback will offer advice and tips designed to help with your creative writing skills.
If you have never taken a creative writing course with feedback, we would recommend the beginners creative writing course in the first instance.

If you need to withdraw from a course, please contact us at least one week before the course starts. We will then provide a full refund less a R500 administration fee.
If you withdraw from the course less than one week before the course starts, unfortunately, we cannot offer a refund.

We reserve the right to cancel courses due to low student registration. If we cancel a course, students will receive a full refund.
Students normally spend between two and three hours every week working on modules and assignments for the course.
