The Writer’s College Short Story Competition is open for entries.
Submission Guidelines
- Open to unpublished writers or those with fewer than four publications, from any country.
- Story length: Maximum 2,000 words.
- Word count limit: If your story exceeds the word count by more than 50 words, it will not be considered.
- Theme for 2026: The End of the Line
Judges: Sonny Whitelaw, Andrew Salomon and Arja Salafranca
Entry fee: Free to enter
Prizes:
- R 10 000 and publication in an anthology of winning stories
- R 5 000 and publication in an anthology of winning stories
- R 2 500 and publication in an anthology of winning stories
